Since the completion of the feasibility study in 2011, the FFIT programme has attracted a number of prestigious awards and award nominations.

 

2015

At the start of 2015, the Public Health Agency of Canada placed the IT programme in its Best Practice portal. To view the page, click here

2012

In 2012, FFIT received the Community Wide Programme Award from the Physical Activity and Health Alliance.

The FFIT programme was also a finalist in the Scottish Council for Voluntary Organisations’ Partnership Award.

2011

In 2011, FFIT received the Herald Society’s Health Provider of the Year Award

The FFIT programme also received a European Professional Football League (EPFL) Best Practice Award for Social Responsibility
